Office Phone: (303) 715-1010 ext. 118

Kelly Clouse is the Director of Programs for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). She leads and supports the development and maintenance of statewide partnerships with land managers, nonprofits, and other key stakeholders; directs programmatic delivery through projects and trainings that strategically address recreation and ecosystem stewardship needs through the engagement of diverse volunteer populations; oversees annual volunteer project and training development, including directing support services that include but are not limited to management of operations center and vehicle fleet and effective fundraising to help support these activities. Kelly’s leadership and thoughtful attitude ensure a diverse slate of projects and trainings where everyone can find their place with VOC.

Prior to joining VOC in 2018, Kelly held various field-based positions with the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, where she was responsible for volunteer project management and gained significant competence in technical trail and restoration skills. She also spent two years working in conservation corps programs in Nevada and Missouri. Kelly attended Truman State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration.

Kelly’s youth was strongly rooted in the outdoors, riding bikes around her neighborhood and exploring the natural areas Missouri had to offer. This passion continued to grow, following her through college and beyond, ultimately bringing her to where she is today at VOC. When not out leading a project, enjoying hard work, and connecting with volunteers, Kelly can be found hanging out with her pups, cooking a delicious vegan meal, sipping a nice local brew, or cozying up with a good book.
