she/her/hers

Abby is a Seasonal Field Project Coordinator for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). In this role, she leads and supports hands-on stewardship projects across the state, working closely with volunteers, land managers, and community partners to create meaningful, community-driven environmental impact. Abby brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to her work, helping to build welcoming and connected volunteer experiences on every project.
Abby has a strong background in office management and HR from small businesses, where she developed key skills in organization, communication, and team coordination. Her decade-long commitment to volunteering in outdoor spaces inspired her to pursue an Environmental Science degree with a concentration in Ecological Restoration at Metropolitan State University. Prior to joining VOC, she worked with a variety of mission-driven companies including REI, Uloha (a camping and climbing store in Hawaii), Titan Vans, and Bunn and Sons Custom Builders. She is known for being empathetic, resourceful, and passionate about creating inclusive spaces where people feel connected to the land and one another.
Outside of her work with VOC, Abby loves to be outdoors in every season—snowboarding and snowmobiling in the winter, and paddleboarding, hiking, and camping during the warmer months. She also enjoys live outdoor music and exploring new corners of Colorado whenever she can.
