Abby McCarty

Northern Front Range Coordinator

she/her/hers

After serving as a seasonal Field Project Coordinator with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC)—leading and supporting hands-on stewardship projects across the state alongside volunteers, land managers, and community partners—Abby now works as VOC's Northern Front Range Coordinator in partnership with the City of Greeley’s Natural Areas and Trails program. In this role, she works closely with Weld County land managers and partner organizations to expand volunteer stewardship opportunities and engage more communities with their environment. Abby brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to every project, creating welcoming, connected experiences that inspire community investment in Colorado’s lands.
Outside of her work with VOC, Abby makes the most of every season outdoors—snowboarding and snowmobiling in the winter, and paddleboarding, hiking, and camping in the warmer months. She also loves live outdoor music and exploring new corners of Colorado whenever she can.
