Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) hosts over 120 outdoor stewardship projects each season across our beautiful state. Our volunteers commit to important tasks like expanding access in nature through trail building, restoring precious wildlife habitats, and maintaining garden beds to provide community members with fresh produce, ensuring a greener, healthier Colorado for all to enjoy.

Why should I give now instead of another time of year?

This is a great question! Your gift goes farther when you donate for Colorado Gives Day (between 11/01/2025 - 12/9/2025), so VOC will receive additional funds on behalf of your donation if you give during this time.


How?

Every donation VOC receives between November 1, 2025, and Colorado Gives Day (December 9, 2025) counts toward one of the largest community incentive funds in the nation! Here’s how it works: VOC will get a portion of the incentive fund based on our share of the total amount raised. For example, if we raise 1% of the total funds, we would receive 1% of a $1M Incentive Fund.

Do I have to wait until Colorado Gives Day on December 9th to have my donation count towards the incentive fund?


Nope! All donations made to VOC between November 1, 2025 and December 9, 2025 will be counted towards the incentive fund.

  • What and when is Colorado Gives Day?

    Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide day of giving that has contributed more than $362 million to Colorado nonprofits since 2010. This year, Colorado Gives Day falls on Tuesday, December 9.

  • How do I give?

    We encourage you to make your donation at coloradogives.org/organization/voc. Click the “Donate” button at the top of the page. Then, enter your information and click the "Pay" button at the bottom of the page. 


    Alternatively, you can simply click here to access a donation portal.

  • Is my donation tax-deductible?

    Yes. All donations made to VOC featured on ColoradoGives.org are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. After making a donation, you will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgment letter. A copy of that letter will also be emailed to you by Community First Foundation.

  • About Third-Party Processing Fees

    Community First Foundation passes the small processing fees to nonprofits. You can choose to cover the fees for VOC as part of your donation. 

Sweepstakes Rules:

  • Early-bird Contest: Make a donation of $20 or more on VOC’s Colorado Gives Day website or email development@voc.org between November 1 and November 30, 2025, to be entered to win a round-trip United Airlines flight.
  • Each weekly contest runs from 12:00 AM on Monday through 11:59 PM on Sunday of that week. Make a qualifying donation or email development@voc.org within the time frame to be entered to win a prize.
  • Weekly campaign donations will also qualify donors to win the Early-bird campaign prize if made within the November time frame.
  • Winner will be notified through email the following week of each contest’s closing; winners must reply within 7 days to confirm their acceptance, or a new winner will be chosen.
  • Donors cannot win more than one prize during the Colorado Gives Day campaign.
