David Welton, Finance Committee Chair
David Welton is the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the America’s region of Viasat, Inc.’s consumer services businesses. Viasat is the global communications company that believes everyone and everything in the world can be connected and provides satellite-based internet service to underserved and unserved communities around the world. Prior to joining Viasat, David held a variety of finance related roles in the technology, airline and investment banking industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Northern Illinois University and an International MBA from the Thunderbird Global School of Management. A native of the Midwest, David found his home in Colorado in the late 2000’s where he settled with his wife and two children. He enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and travelling across Colorado and the world.
