Katie Tate is a public relations and community engagement professional with more than a decade of experience advancing social impact, stakeholder strategy, and strategic communications across Colorado. She is the President of Elevana Ventures, where she supports organizations in developing thoughtful, locally grounded approaches to social investment and community engagement.

Katie previously worked at Chevron and PDC Energy, where she led high-impact community initiatives, charitable investments, and partnerships with nonprofits, civic leaders, and local communities. She is known for her “what if” mindset and for bringing creative, inclusive thinking to complex challenges.

An ultramarathoner who loves hiking and backpacking, Katie believes the outdoors is a place to reset the mind and challenge yourself. She and her husband are raising an active outdoor kiddo, fostering a deep appreciation for Colorado’s public lands and the responsibility to steward them for future generations.
