Explore Colorado with VOC

Thank you for exploring Colorado with us!

Whether you're exploring Colorado for the first time or returning to the outdoor escapes you love, we're sure you'll agree that there's no place like Colorado. From hiking its majestic mountain peaks to rafting down winding rivers, Colorado is a paradise and a playground for nature enthusiasts.

That's why we're proud to partner with the Colorado Tourism Office on the Colorado Field Guide to encourage everyone to do their part in ensuring these beautiful places are sustained long after you've explored and enjoyed them.

  • Donate to support statewide stewardship. We can't take care of Colorado alone: each gift helps us engage thousands of volunteers to preserve the places we love and address critical stewardship needs across the state. Give today and we promise your contribution will have a positive impact on Colorado's outdoors for generations to come.

Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) motivates and enables people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources. Our vision is to foster within every Coloradan a passion for and commitment to caring for the outdoors. To do this, we engage thousands of adult and youth volunteers each year in building and maintaining trails, creating healthy environments for plants and wildlife, planting trees and community gardens, and restoring fire- and flood-damaged places – all across the state.

Since 1984, VOC has engaged more than 110,000 people to get involved in and become inspired to care for Colorado – a total donated labor value of nearly $22 million.
