Your membership supports critical parts of VOC’s work. For example:
 

$40 Individual

  • Keeps 4 volunteers well-fed and hydrated for a whole day
  • Buys snacks to keep kids fed on a Youth SWAT (Stewardship with a Team) project
  • Provides training materials for one Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI) trainee

$75 Family

  • Buys 2 shovels that will last 300 projects
  • Allows one student at a low-income middle school to participate in a VOC Play, Learn and Serve Day
  • Buys fuel to get necessary supplies and equipment to and from a volunteer project site

$100 Trailblazers

  • Enables a high school student in VOC's Cairn Youth Program to participate in the program for one year
  • Covers a training scholarship for one Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI) trainee
  • Underwrites all tools and supplies for a Grow Local community gardening project

$250 Supporters

  • Trains 4 new crew leaders who will teach and lead 200 volunteers each year
  • Covers transportation costs to take Cairn Youth Program high-schoolers on an outdoor career exploration day
  • Furnishes VOC with all supplies and materials necessary for a year of volunteer outreach fairs

$500 Guardians

  • Protects 5 acres of native plants by removing invasive species
  • Allows a low-income school to engage students in a Youth SWAT (Stewardship with a Team) project
  • Enables five high school students to participate in VOC’s Cairn Youth Program for a year

$1,000 Conservators

  • Equips a volunteer crew to build 10,000 feet of sustainable trail
  • Pays for a recreational opportunity for a low-income middle school during a VOC Play, Learn and Serve Day
  • Covers costs for an Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI) training for 50 trainees
