About Triina K.
Triina is the Seasonal Field Projects Coordinator for VOC's San Luis Valley (SLV) Partnership Office. The position manages VOC’s efforts to continue building public land stewardship capacity through partnerships and volunteerism. She works closely with the Rio Grande National Forest and Bureau of Land Management offices.
She is a proud SLV resident who loves living and exploring the valley with her two adventurous dogs. In the winter, you can find her skijoring, snowboarding, and getting into the backcountry. And in warmer months she enjoys kayaking the Rio Grande River, mountain biking, and exploring off-trail. Triina is a former science teacher, ski bum, guide, naturalist, culinary director, and program coordinator for various companies and lodges. She is very excited to join the VOC team and for the field season in the beautiful San Luis Valley.
