Gail Murray

Seasonal Field Projects Coordinator

Office Phone: (303) 715-1010

Gail Murray is a Seasonal Field Projects Coordinator for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) and will be coordinating volunteer projects across the state, bringing volunteers together on projects from community gardening to 14er trail maintenance and everything in between. She is passionate about getting outside and making the outdoors accessible for everyone.
Gail started with VOC as a volunteer in 2018 as she began contemplating a career transition from accounting to natural resources and has now been working in the outdoors for the last year. She comes to VOC with many hours of volunteer work under her belt, as well as experience working with Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) at Eldorado Canyon State Park and as a program assistant at the statewide office. Previously, you could find her doing accounting for the local outdoor brand Topo Designs, and she can assure you she is still putting those Excel skills to good use!
Gail's love for the outdoors really came through after moving to Colorado from the coast of North Carolina over 10 years ago. Her favorite go-to Colorado activity is hiking, but you may also find her rock climbing, camping, or snowboarding in her free time. And if she's honest, you can always find her curled up with her two cats, reading or binging a television show.
