STEWARDSHIP TRAINING

Each year, we train hundreds of people in outdoor leadership and stewardship skills through VOC's Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI), not only to lead VOC volunteers, but also to assist government agencies and stewardship organizations across the country in effective and sustainable stewardship efforts.

With some online components offered in partnership with Colorado Mountain College, it is now easier and faster than ever for volunteers, students, and professionals to obtain the skills necessary to effectively care for Colorado's natural resources.

CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING

VOC may be able to customize a volunteer project for your employees through our Team Stewardship Day program! We will work with you to plan and manage an outdoor volunteer project that meets your team's needs including date, location, and type of work.

The Team Stewardship Day program is a fantastic way for your business or organization to build teamwork, learn new skills, and have fun while making a hands-on difference for Colorado's outdoor places.

THE VOC CREED

"At Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, we believe that everyone has a place in the outdoors and in caring for them. No matter your background, we share the land as our home, and it is up to us to maintain it for the benefit of all living things. No matter how you connect with the outdoors, we believe we can find common ground in nature, and can be united in our efforts to leave it better than we found it. We welcome everyone to be a part of our stewardship community, and to find your place with VOC."
