Volunteer as a Group

Group volunteering with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is a fun and rewarding way to build teamwork while positively impacting your community.

There are two ways for groups to get involved in volunteering outdoors with VOC:

  1. Register for a public volunteer project. VOC offers a wide range of volunteer projects open to the public, in locations across the state. There is no fee for your group to join a public volunteer project; however, donations are welcome to help VOC offset program expenses. To join one of the 50+ public projects, view our volunteer opportunities and decide on the project you wish to join.  To register, contact Volunteer and Outreach Manager, Jamie Burke, at jamie@voc.org or 303-715-1010 x 116.
  2. Request a customized SWAT (Stewardship with a Team) Project. For corporate groups, youth groups and schools, and teams of 20 people or more, VOC can often customize a volunteer project. VOC will take care of all the planning and logistics. Please use one of the request form links below to tell us what you have in mind.

NOTE: Because customized volunteer projects require additional coordination, logistics, and supplies, there is a fee for corporate groups. The program is offered free of charge to youth and school groups.
