Volunteer as a Group

Gather a group, get outside and give back with
Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC)!

Whether an organization, networking group, corporation, family reunion or just a large gathering of friends, volunteering with VOC is a fun and rewarding way to build teamwork while positively impacting Colorado's outdoor places.

We offer two ways for groups to get involved:

  • Register for a public volunteer project. We offer 50+ volunteer opportunities throughout the state each year from April - October. Browse our project calendar to find one that's right for your group, then email Jamie Burke or call 303-715-1010 ext. 116 to register. Please note that while we work to accommodate groups of any size, there may be some limitations depending on the project scope. Check out our Volunteer FAQ to learn more about VOC projects.

  • Request a custom SWAT (Stewardship with a Team) project. For teams of 20+ people, including corporate groups, youth groups, and schools, VOC can often customize a volunteer project based on your group's needs. Please note that - with the exception of schools and youth groups - these custom projects do require a fee to address the additional coordination, logistics, and supplies needed.
