Description

This two-day workshop is ideal for those who have prior trail project experience.

Through classroom sessions, field exercises and role playing, you'll learn and practice construction and maintenance of sustainable trails, leadership strategies and techniques, tool use, and safety. All trainees will receive a crew leader manual, a set of quick reference cards, and other materials that make for a successful and fun experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any nonprofit, agency, trail maintenance, or construction project!

Training Cost: $80. This training is being generously underwritten by Trails 2000. Trainees who sign up by April 7, 2017 will receive 50 percent off the registration fee.

Please Note: OSI trainings are offered for a nominal fee to cover materials and the cost of instructors. The courses are limited in size to ensure effectiveness and often fill quickly. Spots are not solidified until complete payment is received. Registrants will be charged in full as will those who do not attend the training without giving at least seven days advanced notice. Meals are not included.
