Project Description

VOC is teaming up with Slow Food Denver, Grow Local Colorado, and Greater Denver Urban Homesteaders to plant a fruit orchard at the Urban Farm at Stapleton (TUF). The orchard will serve as a nutrition education center for area school children and become a source of fresh fruit for the community. Adults participating through the Orchard Crop Mob will provide the muscle to the children so that the trees are planted in a single day.

There is no fee for this project. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
